April is the fourth month of the year in the Gregorian calendar, the fifth in the early Julian, the first of four months to have a length of 30 days, and the second of five months to have a length of less than 31 days. April is a spring month in the northern half of the world and a fall month in the southern half. It might be named after Aphrodite, the goddess of love. April's birth flower is the daisy. April is the fourth month in the Gregorian calendar and has 30 days.


If you read the first paragraph, I hope you found it "interesting," perhaps informative, but did you enjoy it? As writers we want to grab our readers as quickly as possible, fiction or non, we want people to keep reading. Get them on the second paragraph - you get the idea. So I thought, along with wishing everyone the best for Easter, Passover, Ramadan or the best for April, is take this challenge to make "APRIL" a compelling intro for a mystery, romance, poem, children's story - sci-fi of course.
